It's a strange time, so we'd like to share some new music with you.
First, a cover that we recorded in November of Adrianne Lenker's song Kerina. We've been playing this at our live shows for as long as we've been playing live shows, and never found a good time to release it. "I'm calling you all the time / but you say it'll be just fine" seems like a fitting lyric for our subtle apocalypse.
Next, a demo of our song Up in the Air. We recorded this in March 2019, right after we formed the group but before we knew what we wanted to sound like. A song about sleeping on airplanes, swann's way, and visiting one's parents. There was some fun experimentation here and a lot of (sometimes misplaced) reverb.
Third, our cover of Vashti Bunyan's song I'd Like to Walk Around in Your Mind. Dan and Nora recorded this one in February 2020 for Benjamin Violet's Valentine's Day compilation, and we're presenting it to you again here with some of our other music.
Hope you enjoy the songs, and stay safe out there.
